With the completion of the new D.A.R.E. Elementary and Middle School curricula, it is recommended that D.A.R.E. Officers do not delay in completing the updated certification trainings. Phase I includes Facilitation Training and Phase II introduces the new curriculum. Both Phase I and Phase II will provide you with the necessary learning tools and knowledge to teach the new curriculum. It is mandatory that you attend both of these training seminars being offered during the year in order to obtain your new certification and teach the new curriculum. This required training is important to current D.A.R.E. Officers, so that they may continue teaching the D.A.R.E. program in their school districts while using the latest techniques. Upon the completion of Phase II, D.A.R.E. Officers are required to complete an on-line survey for final recertification. This final phase must be completed as soon as possible.
